At Alex Fraser we transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources and dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects. With Alex Fraser, your work will help make carbon history.

Our demolition business is a small group of 15 who conduct industrial demolition and environmental remediation projects in the Melbourne metro area and occasionally interstate and overseas.

As a Project Manager you will have end-to-end ownership of environmental remediation and some demolition projects. You will provide input to the project planning and costing of remediation projects, including advice on appropriate remediation technology options. You will then co-ordinate the application of earthmoving equipment and people to the safe conduct of projects and on-site you will be ultimately responsible for leading highly skilled project teams, determining safe work approaches, identifying hazards and managing projects profitably. The role requires the development of a significant amount of documentation including site safety plans, work plans, briefing documents, operating procedures and reports.

You must have significant environmental remediation project management experience, particularly in the contaminated land area. Relevant science, engineering or project management qualification will be highly regarded. You will have high standards of safety and attention to detail in project planning. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills. The right person for this small team environment may even be able to operate earthmoving machinery.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package including a fully maintained company vehicle. Best of all, you will work with great people in a supportive, team environment.
