The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. We operate five manufacturing facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 250 people. The role is based at Derrimut.

About the Opportunity
As the Customer Service Supervisor you will lead a team of 5 in the busy Derrimut Customer Service Centre to co-ordinate the orders and dispatch of recycled concrete aggregates and road base products. This is a busy and dynamic environment, the Customer Service team handle around 600 calls and schedule over 350 transport tasks per day.
You will work closely with Key Account Managers and the Production teams to check stock, assign trucks and schedule deliveries throughout the Melbourne metro area. The operations are open between 6.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday-Friday and your roster includes up to 2 x half day Saturdays per month.
You will be an approachable and caring people leader who enjoys a dynamic logistics environment. You must have experience with telephone-based, logistics-related customer service, high level Microsoft skills (MS Excel, Outlook, Word) and high level numeracy for sales and scheduling calculations. Experience with quarry products, aggregates, construction materials or concrete is desirable.
We are offering a base salary of $80,000 plus superannuation. Best of all, you will work with great people in a supportive environment.
