The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction and demolition materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. We operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 260 people. These two roles are based at Archerfield and Nudgee in Brisbane.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the local Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10-15 across site operations including the fixed concrete crushing plant, aggregate plant, weighbridge and raw material stockpiling. Your equipment fleet comprises 2 large wheel loaders, 1 x 40t excavator, a skid steer loader and a water truck.
We will look to you to set high standards for safety, production efficiency, preventative maintenance and customer service. You will be responsible for:
- The efficient running of the site and crushing operations;
- Monitoring material quality to specification;
- Scheduling maintenance and managing contractors;
- Leading and motivating the team; and
- Continuous production improvement.
You must have significant supervisory or quarry management experience with hard rock quarries or concrete crushing. These are hands-on roles and you will be comfortable with production scheduling, maintenance planning and monthly reporting. Your hard work will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package with fully maintained company vehicle negotiable on experience.
