The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction materials recycling, and asphalt production and paving. We operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 260 people. The role is based at Derrimut.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
You will schedule the daily tasks for a fleet of hook lift trucks and coordinate the placement and collection of 130 recycling waste bins (6-24m3). Hours are 6.30 am – 4.30 pm Monday-Friday and work-from-home half day Saturday.
You’ll also develop your career in transport and logistics by supporting the Transport Manager with technology projects, vehicle inspections, regulatory reporting and KPI reporting.
You must have:
- Telephone based customer service and/or outbound sales experience
- Excellent knowledge of Melbourne metropolitan area
- Experience route planning, delivery/pickup scheduling/optimising routes
- Good attention to detail
- High-level MSOffice skills, particularly MSExcel
- Experience with computerised dispatch systems
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience with industrial skip bin work and council permit processes
- Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation
- HR license or higher
- Mechanical aptitude or trade qualification
