The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. We operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and one in Port Kembla. We employ around 260 people and the role is based in the Queensland Head Office at Nudgee.

About the Opportunity
You will oversee trade accounts and undertake credit control and collection activities to ensure customers remain within agreed payment terms. The role also supports the sales team on business analysis such as customer and product mix, pricing performance and tracking of targets.
The Queensland division has approximately $15 m in annual turnover and serves around 500 account customers from large infrastructure projects through to small civil construction companies.
Your duties will include:
- maintain debtor ledgers and receipt ledger books, reconcile cash sales and debtors accounts and follow up outstanding accounts,
- monitor customer credit limits and process new applications
- issue credit and debit notes and identify potential debtor default problems
- monitor and improve debt collection procedures
You must have a minimum of five years’ experience in credit/accounts receivable with a medium-sized organisation. Experience with enwis) or Microsoft Navision will be an advantage, but is not essential.
You will be an excellent communicator with very high levels of accuracy, diplomacy and tenacity. You will have superior customer service skills and an ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including salespeople.
