About the Opportunity
Alex Fraser now has a fantastic opportunity for a Wheel Loader Operator to join our team in Clayton, on a full-time basis. Typical hours are Monday to Friday 6:30am - 4:30pm, with optional weekend shifts available on a rotating roster.
As a Wheel Loader Operator, you will be primarily responsible for loading road material onto customer trucks in an efficient manner, cutting floors and performing general labouring work.
About You
This is a fast-paced and high-volume environment. As such, it's critical you possess a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Wheel and/or Sales Loader Operator, and be ready to hit the ground running.
You'll understand how to balance the expectations of the role, maintaining a safety-focus while operating with speed and a sense of urgency - quick and controlled is your aim!
You'll also bring with you a detailed understanding of the anatomy of machinery you'll be operating, in order to execute your work in the most efficient manner. This will ensure your ability to coordinate your own movements with that of the wheel loader and trucks.
Additionally, it's important you be able to remain calm under pressure and stay conscious of the customer-focused environment you'll be operating in day-to-day.
