Our Company
The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction and demolition materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. A division of Hanson, we operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 300 people. This role is based at our Concrete Crushing and Recycling facility in Epping in Melbourne.

The Role
Your day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensuring a safe working environment;
- Leading, developing and motivating a team of 23 FTE + subcontractors;
- Managing plant’s day to day activities to meet product specification, volume and quality targets;
- Managing operation of the fixed crushing plant, pugmill and laboratory;
- Managing a mobile equipment fleet of 3 large wheel loaders, 2 x 40t excavators, skid steer loader, EWP and 2 water trucks;
- Reporting to Alex Fraser’s Production Manager.
The Expertise Needed
- Technical: Experienced in supervising rock or concrete crushing plant and associated equipment;
- People: Well developed people leadership skills – minimum at Supervisor level;
- Administration: Expert in production scheduling, maintenance planning and daily reporting.
