The Alex Fraser Group is engaged in construction and demolition materials recycling and asphalt production and paving. We operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ around 300 people. The role is based at Laverton North.

About the Opportunity
We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 'all-rounder' to join our Asphalt Production plant at Laverton North, on a full-time basis. This is a six day per week 6am-4pm role, including Saturdays. Regular weekend and night shift work is also required (with overtime paid accordingly), so flexibility and a strong team work ethic are essential.
This is a great opportunity to enter Australia’s leader in the sustainable use of recycled materials in asphalt production. The Laverton North plant is a state-of-the-art, purpose built asphalt manufacturing facility, which will be Australia’s largest asphalt production plant.
This is a multi-skilled team environment so you will be asked at times to also pitch in and learn the wheel loader, laboratory and dispatch parts of the business. In return, full training and tickets will be provided.
A starting base rate of $27.71 p/h is on offer, negotiable with experience, as well as a Daily Allowance of $23.50 and a monthly RDO.
