Our Company

The Alex Fraser Group is Australia’s largest manufacturer of recycled construction materials and an innovative asphalt production and paving company. We operate five facilities in Melbourne, two in Brisbane and employ over 300 people. This role is based at Derrimut.

About the Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join a team of 6 in the Derrimut Customer Service Centre. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role with a roster that includes 2 x half-day Saturdays per month. 

As a phone based role, your main responsibility will be to take sales orders for recycled concrete aggregates and road based products. Working closely with Key Account Managers and Production Teams, you will also check stock levels and schedule deliveries throughout the Melbourne metro area. 

About You

To be considered for this position you will have previous experience in a telephone-based logistics role and a professional and personable phone manner. You will have high-level numeracy skills with the ability to calculate orders quickly over the phone, as well as a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Outlook).

Any experience gained working with aggregates, construction materials, concrete and/or using Microsoft Navision and Enwis software will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
